Mixed Tour Two

Due to phenomenal demand (ok, well one person) I've had another wild stab in the dark at whom may go up the seedings this weekend, and who may slip a place or two.

Moving on up...

Look for Kent to rise a place or two. At MT1 Lemmings knocked them out of the Top 16, but they finished the Sunday strongly to finish as high as they could in 17th.

Gronical Dizziness are the unknown factor this weekend, I understand that they're a dutch team and I'm guessing they're from Groningen. I reckon they'll be tough competition.

A third team I could see rising up a couple of places are Shakedown. The Mixed version of Shake N Bake will be looking to move up from their 26th seed.

Got that sinking feeling...

Judging by the number of emails and messages, it looks like Sealand are short of players for the long trek down to the South coast from Scotland, it's possible they'll drop a place or two.

More plea's for players from ABH, leads me to believe that their second team may slip a place or two from 28th seed.

After a good MT1, Cutty Sharks will be looking to build upon that success, but they've got a few strong teams on their heels, expect them to drop a seed.

As always, this is just for kicks/giggles, and as you'll have seen from my MT1 predictions, you'll probably do better if I pick you for the drop!

See you in Weymouth for some fish, chips and sandcastles.

This post was written whilst mostly listening to 6 Day Riot.

Here's my prediction: Lemmings will play Kent. It'll be a close and fun game. Lets make it 13th/14th this time!

My prediction is that any teams coming from far away (Scotland, Netherlands...) will struggle to bring a full team due to flight cancellations and volcano related fun and might actually struggle, unfortunate for them really.

Guildford ultimate should move up a few more too (altho rather limited in the amount they can move up)

And Curve... yeh we'll be storming up the ranks too.. I hope! :)

Lucas! Results are out. http://www.mixedtour2.co.uk/#/results/4539273030

Some prelimenary analysis from me (bored on the train) suggests (teams moving 6 places or more up or down...)
Biggest climbers:
Oxford Mixed (+8)
Curve (+7)
Biggest fallers:
Fully Charged (-8)
BAF (-6)
Release Mixed (-6)
ABH1 (-6)

Interested to see your next post :) Well done to all the teams who beat their seedings, or any teams that were unbeaten!
