Hey All,
There's a badminton tournament coming up, raising money for charity. It's at St Nicholas Sports Centre in Warwick on Saturday 8th September 2012 starting at 10am to 4pm and all profit is going to Cancer Research UK. It's a doubles tournament with two divisions.
One division is for Social/Recreational players, this is an 'Open' Division (i.e. mens, womens and mixed pairs compete together).
The other division is for Club/League players, this is a 'Mixed' Division (all pairs must be mixed).
There should be some great prizes to be won, possibly a speed gun there too (tbc) to measure the speed of your smash and most importantly it'll be raising money for Cancer Research UK.
The cost of the tournament is only £10 per player. The format is not a straight knock-out, ensuring that all pairs have several games throughout the day.
